VANCOUVER, BC – The semifinals are set.

After a month of voting, the field for the 2014 Whitecaps FC Goal of the Year, presented by Budweiser, has been narrowed down to four.

Now, it’s time to determine the final two.

The first semifinal is a matchup between Sebastian Fernandez and Erik Hurtado. And the second is a matchup between Sebastian Fernandez and … Erik Hurtado.

Can’t be a coincidence.

Voting for the first semifinal, which features Seba’s long-range strike vs. Seattle and Hurtado’s memorable first MLS goal in Columbus, is now underway.
