AT&T Goal of the Week: Week 12
Beautiful, dramatic goals rained down from near and far and left, right and centre last week, setting up an intriguing showdown for the latest MLS Goal of the Week award.
Both of the Vancouver Whitecaps FC's goals in Saturday's pulsating 2-2 draw with Seattle Sounders FC have been nominated. Erik Hurtado's effort featured two defender-deceiving cutbacks, while Gershon Koffie contributes a remarkably accurate smash from long, long range.
Hurtado now has two MLS goals and they've both been nominated for Goal of the Week. Not bad.
