The ‘Caps cruised to a 4-0 victory against Juventus Sport Club on Saturday with goals from Terran Campbell, Matthew Baldisimo, Alphonso Davies, and Daniel Sagno.

Sunday provided a bigger test for the Blue and White with first place in the Northwest Division on the line against San Jose Earthquakes.

The visiting Quakes opened the scoring on 28 minutes, but the ‘Caps responded immediately. Kadin Chung and Daniel Sagno put together great interplay down the right wing, leading to a fine run and goal from David Norman to level the score at 1-1 only two minutes after San Jose's goal. Then, just before halftime, Thomas Gardner scored for a 2-1 advantage and momentum clearly in favour of the home team.

A red card to Norman in the second half had the ‘Caps down a man, but it would be the Blue and White who scored again through Cole Morokhovich for a 3-1 win.

“Two good performances from the boys this weekend,” said Whitecaps FC U-18 head coach Rich Fagan. “Everyone has contributed over the Saturday and Sunday matches, and that now has us in a good position heading into our matches in Florida.”
