NEW YORK – Today, Major League Soccer held a dispersal draft for former Chivas USA players following the shutdown of the club last month. A total of seven players from the roster were chosen – Vancouver Whitecaps FC opted not to make a selection at 20th overall.
The Dispersal Draft was conducted via teleconference call with representatives from all 20 MLS clubs. Each team was given one minute to determine their selection. The draft concluded when all MLS clubs forewent a selection.
