VANCOUVER, BC – Vancouver Whitecaps FC will look to stay atop the MLS Western Conference on Saturday as the club celebrates the vibrant South Asian community during the Vaisakhi Celebration Match, presented by MNP.
Kickoff versus Colorado Rapids will be at 6:30 p.m. PT, with festivities on Terry Fox Plaza starting at 5 p.m. PT. Single match tickets are available at ticketmaster.ca/whitecaps. For all other ticket options, visit whitecapsfc.com/tickets.

Pre-Match Clinic, presented by MNP
- 80 youth from Surrey School District, Surrey FC, and MNP will take part in a pre-match clinic, presented by MNP
- Following the clinic, participants will enjoy an event at the BC Sports Hall of Fame prior to the match

- One small opaque bag, but it can’t be larger than 6.5”x 8.5”

Kid Captain
Whitecaps FC are honoured to have Ian Sewell from BC Transplant as Kid Captain for Saturday's match versus Colorado Rapids.
Ian is a liver transplant recipient who received the gift of life at seven months old. He is a champion advocate for organ donation and a long-time BC Transplant volunteer. Ian raises awareness about organ donation by sharing his story, contributing his time at events by speaking with people about the importance of registering their decision on organ donation, and he continually inspires people with what he’s been able to do post-transplant. He enjoys playing soccer, hockey, and lacrosse, and is an accomplished artist. Ian is resilient young person who is always giving back to his community.

Supporter of the Match
Saturday's Supporter of the Match will be Eoghan Campbell from Vancouver Albion.
Eoghan has been a supporter for four years. His favourite memory is the away trip to Portland for the MLS Cup Playoffs last year, as the 'Caps beat the Timbers 5-0. He also won a TV and a jersey doing the Know Your 'Caps trivia on the videoboard at BC Place!
His favourite part of being in a supporters group is the community. He’s found everyone to be so welcoming and enthusiastic about the team and the energy that they bring to each game is electric. He’s met so many new people with common interests, and heavily recommends joining if you are a Whitecaps fan.
