VANCOUVER, BC – Vancouver Whitecaps FC announced on Thursday that the club has acquired Seattle Sounders FC natural second round pick in the 2021 MLS SuperDraft in exchange for a 2019 international roster spot.
With the arrival of Honduran winger Michaell Chirinos via loan earlier this month, the ’Caps now have nine international players, occupying each of their international roster spots through 2019.
Whitecaps FC start a two-match road swing this Saturday when they visit San Jose Earthquakes. Kickoff at Avaya Stadium is at 7 p.m. live on TSN4 and 1410 AM.
