VANCOUVER, BC – Vancouver Whitecaps FC are in first place in the MLS Western Conference after starting the season 4W-1L-1D, and coming off of a dominant 4-0 win over Canadian rivals Toronto FC.
Now the 'Caps turn their attention to a massive top of the table clash against second place Los Angeles Galaxy this coming Saturday, April 13 at BC Place. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. PT, and a seventh straight crowd of over 22,000 fans is expected.
Here are some important details for fans heading to the match.

Continental Tire Celebrating Soccer
Continental Tire will be on-site at Terry Fox Plaza starting at 6 p.m. PT.
Fans who come can get a free Whitecaps FC co-branded scarf, while supplies last, by scanning the QR code or using an iPad provided by staff. Once registration is complete, scarves can be redeemed via a vending machine. Each registrant is also entered to win a team-signed soccer ball or set of Continental tires.
Fans will also have the opportunity to participate in a rocket league one vs. one competition using Continental branded RC cars. Fans will have three minutes to land a goal against their opponent.
Gates
Gates will open at 6:30 p.m. PT, and 6 p.m. PT for suites.
The match will officially kick off at 7:40 p.m. PT.

Fans can text 778-873-3267 at any point during the match and a dedicated BCP Guest Services member will respond promptly.
March to the Match
Supporters will lead the March to the Match down Robson Street to BC Place.
The march will depart from Dublin Calling at 6:45 p.m. PT and will also see supporters joining from Fable Diner & Bar at Robson and Richards.
$5 Menu!
BC Place has a $5 menu, in collaboration with Sodexo Live! including $5 beer, hot dogs, nachos, and popcorn. Limited-release items may appear on the menu throughout the year. The $5 Menu is available at Dawson’s Hot Dogs stands at sections 201 and 227.
The following specialty hot dogs will also be available at section 245.
Kids Combo
The Kids Combo at Dawson's Hot Dogs (214 and 241) is $6.50 for a hot dog, chips, and soda. The Kids Combo at Lions Gate Grill (228 and 254) is $6.50 for chicken strips, fries, and soda.
Drink special
A drink special will be available for $12.75 at Dillon's Hard Bar at section 213, the lounge bars in the club sections, and the welcome bar at Gate H.
PlayNow Soccer Showdown
A few lucky fans at the match will be chosen to take part in the PlayNow Soccer Showdown, a halftime obstacle course, with the winner walking away with a BCLC and Whitecaps FC prize pack. Fans in the stands can also predict the winner and enter to win four pitchside table seats to a future match.
Bloodlines Jersey
Whitecaps FC will be wearing their primary white Bloodlines Jersey.
The Bloodlines Jersey, as well as the new 50 Jersey, will be available for purchase throughout the concourse at BC Place at sections 205, 222, 233, and 249. The jersey is also available online at whitecapsfc.com/shop and at the Official Whitecaps FC store in Gastown.

The last call for alcohol in the stadium will be the 75th minute of the match.

Kid Captain
Whitecaps FC are honoured to have Kate Adams from Down Syndrome Resource Foundation for Saturday's home match against Los Angeles Galaxy.
Kate is 16-years-old, and lives the upside of Down Syndrome. Her greatest passion is dance - she takes ballet and modern classes and can always be found dancing to her own music or a dance workout. She goes downhill skiing with her family, does synchronized swimming at an outdoor pool, practices archery with her dad, and plays baseball with the Challengers. She volunteers at an outdoor day camp where she helps kids with crafts, archery and camp songs, and is excited to start work experience at a mall retail store.

Supporter of the Match
Saturday's Supporter of the Match will be Gael Amador from Vancouver Albion.
Gael has been a season ticket member for three years. His favourite memory is the 2022 Canadian Championship final, and his favourite part about being in a supporters group is meeting new people with the same interests.
Clear bags/Bag Check
For ease of entry, Whitecaps FC and BC Place recommend you don’t bring a bag to the stadium. If you do bring a bag, make sure it’s made of clear plastic and smaller than 12”x12”x6”. Exceptions will be made for diaper bags and medically necessary items that do not fit into a clear bag. You can bring one small opaque bag, but it can’t be larger than 6.5”x 8.5”. All bags will be inspected prior to entry.
Mobile entry
All tickets for Whitecaps FC matches are through mobile ticketing, providing a contactless and paperless experience. Season ticket members and pack holders will need to access their tickets through whitecapsfc.com/accountmanager. Single match buyers will access their tickets through Ticketmaster.
Cashless transactions
To reduce the potential for hand-to-hand contact, and to improve the efficiency of payment transactions, BC Place is now a cashless venue.
Concessions and food and beverage vendors will accept all major digital forms of payment including Mobile, Debit Cards, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Google Pay, and Apple Pay. Cash payments will not be accepted. There will be a Cash to Card kiosk located at Sec 235 where guests can exchange cash for cards to use at the food and beverage locations throughout the stadium.
