This coming Saturday, August 9, the City of New Westminster and Vancouver Whitecaps FC will host a second community regarding the proposal to bring a USL PRO club to the City of New Westminster in time for the 2015 season. Saturday's discussion will take place at Centennial Community Centre (adjacent to Canada Games Pool) from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. PT.
USL PRO is the official partner league of Major League Soccer (MLS) and the strongest men's professional soccer league below and in support of MLS. Every MLS team is expected to either field their own USL PRO team or form an official partnership with a USL PRO team by the upcoming 2015 season.
