VANCOUVER, BC – Vancouver Whitecaps FC held their final training session in Vancouver on Wednesday before departing for Philadelphia on Thursday morning.
It was a spirited session that ended with some fun, as an impromptu water fight broke out between the likes of Kekuta Manneh, Gershon Koffie, and Nigel Reo-Coker.
Hear what Whitecaps FC head coach Carl Robinson had to say about that and much more.
It was a lighter session for Whitecaps FC defender Christian Dean and midfielder Mehdi Ballouchy, who both played in Tuesday’s United Soccer Leagues (USL) Premier Development League (PDL) match with the club’s U-23 team. Dean, who played the full 90 minutes, and Ballouchy, who played 61 minutes, helped the 'Caps claim their first win of the season.
Also of note, Canadian defender Adam Straith, a Whitecaps FC Residency graduate and native of Victoria, joined in on Wednesday’s training session – as did fellow Whitecaps FC Residency graduates Brody Huitema and Sean Melvin.
It’s not too late to participate in the best sporting experience in Vancouver. Whitecaps FC offer a flexible range of ticket products, including prorated season tickets ($220), 5-packs ($149), student season tickets, and a youth soccer half-season ticket.
