VANCOUVER, BC – Vancouver Whitecaps FC midfielder Yordy Reyna is off to the United States during the September FIFA international break to join Peru men’s national team for a pair of neutral site friendlies.
Reyna and La Blanquirroja play Ecuador at Red Bull Arena in Harrison, NJ on September 5, then head off to Southern California to face Brazil at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum on September 10.
The ‘Caps are on bye to start the month, and Reyna is expected to be back in Vancouver in time for their home fixture against Houston Dynamo on September 14.
A native of Chiclayo, Peru, Reyna has two goals in his 24 caps for his national team.
