VANCOUVER, BC – Vancouver Whitecaps FC midfielder Yordy Reyna has been called up to the Peru men’s national team for their upcoming away-and-home friendly series against Uruguay following the MLS regular season.
The two national sides square off at Estadio Centenario in Montevideo on October 10, and then the scene shifts to Estadio Nacional in Lima four days later.
A native of Chiclayo, Peru, Reyna has two goals in his 26 caps for his national team, including a pair of substitute appearances in friendlies versus Costa Rica and the United States earlier this month.
