He loves chilling at the beach and he's aiming to open his own restaurant after his playing days are done.
In the latest edition of 'Quality Time', presented by GE Appliances, we caught up with wingback Marcus Godinho, who's enjoyed a fruitful second season with the 'Caps.

Drake and the Raptors.
What’s one thing that reminds you of home?Â
The diversity here.
What do you love most about Vancouver?Â
The nature, the mountains, just how beautiful the city looks in general.
Who’s one celebrity you’d most like to meet?
Cristiano Ronaldo.
If you had to swap places with a teammate for a day, who would you choose?
Tristan [Blackmon] because he’s so chill, he just works and exists.
There’s a zombie apocalypse and you can choose three teammates to help you survive it. Who are you picking?
Flo [Jungwirth], Isaac [Boehmer] and Rusty [Teibert].
If you could have one superpower, what would it be?
Telekinesis.
Describe your dream home.
Somewhere hot, by the beach, somewhere like Europe Mediterranean. Have a nice little pool, little movie theater inside. A nice backyard patio, actually, I don’t need that, I got the beach. Beach and sun, that’s all I need.
What do you think you will do once your playing days are over?
I want to open up a restaurant and eventually, if everything goes well do sort of a chain or multiple different types. Each restaurant will have a different cuisine, that’s my plan, and each restaurant will be named after a different family member and each will be tied to a specific cuisine.
What’s your favourite genre of music?
Rap or hip-hop.

Drake.
What’s your favourite movie?
Harry Potter, the last one.
What is the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?
Not to give up on your dreams, I think the biggest thing no matter what you face, no matter the adversity you face, just don’t give up. Believe in yourself.
What’s the first thing you do when you wake up in the morning?
Turn my alarm off and go shower.
Describe the worst haircut you’ve ever had.
It was when I was in Germany, I was going home for Christmas actually and this was my barber always, like same cut always and normally I do like a pretty high fade, and he did like an undercut and left the whole top long. I didn’t really properly look at it until I got outside and the sides like just above my ear was bald basically. I had to go get it fixed the next day.
If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?
A nice steak.
What would the title of your autobiography be?
Perseverance.
What’s the strangest job you’ve ever had?
Only job I’ve ever had is playing soccer.
What is your cellphone wallpaper?
The regular iPhone wallpaper, never changed it.
What’s the quirkiest thing about you?
I like going to the zoo.
What’s your go-to dance move in the club?
Just sit at the table, watch everything go down. I’ve never danced much.
