Whitecaps FC are offering a four day, three night camp in August for U-12 to U-15 boys. This camp, located at the National Soccer Development Centre at UBC, is directed at advanced and motivated players looking to take their game to the next level. The camp is led by Whitecaps FC coaching staff including Pre-Residency head coach Bart Choufour and Girls Elite head coach Jesse Symons.
Prospects Residential Camps provide youth with the unique opportunity to work with the ‘Caps head coaching staff, meet Whitecaps FC MLS players, train at the official Whitecaps FC training centre, and attend the match between Whitecaps FC and LA Galaxy on Saturday, August 24 at BC Place.
The camp is an intense combination of training and match play. Participants will work with coaching staff to develop their skills including technical and tactical components and also classroom topics including nutrition and sports science. Goalkeepers will receive specialized sessions as well as integration into the general player sessions delivered by Whitecaps FC professional Goalkeeper coaching staff.
This is the ultimate Whitecaps FC experience for a young player to take their game to the next level and have the opportunity to be scouted for the ‘Caps Pre-Residency program where the likes of Russell Teibert, Bryce Alderson, and Caleb Clarke have emerged.
