FC EDMONTON
Tuesday’s match will be FC Edmonton’s fifth and final preseason outing before kicking off their 2014 NASL campaign next Saturday, April 12.
The Eddies have been training in the Vancouver area since March 17. They have gone undefeated in preseason competition thus far, defeating the Trinity Western Spartans, Simon Fraser University Clan, and Abbotsford Selects before drawing 1-1 with the University of British Columbia Thunderbirds this past weekend.
There are a few familiar faces within the Eddies organization, including former Whitecaps FC Residency midfielder Gagandeep Dosanjh and former Whitecaps FC assistant coach Colin Miller. This will be Miller’s second year as Eddies head coach.
“It’s going to be a tough game,” said Forrest. “They’ll come very prepared under Colin and they’ll want to make a good impression being here. It will be a difficult challenge.”
