PLAYOFF CHASE: Entering the final seven matches of the MLS regular season, four home and three away, Whitecaps FC host Nashville SC this Saturday for the first time ever at BC Place. Both clubs are pushing for a top seven playoff spot in the tightly contested Western Conference. The 'Caps are just two points behind sixth place Nashville and level on points with seventh placed LA Galaxy, who have one more win and two games in hand but have played three less away games than the Blue and White.
WOMEN & GIRLS IN SPORT: This Saturday, Whitecaps FC will host Women & Girls in Sport Match at BC Place. There will be a pre-match jamboree focused on female empowerment, special guests from local community groups, and a number of the in-stadium staff will be led by women. In addition, the first 1,500 fans will receive a tank top featuring the Whitecaps FC Women & Girls in Sport logo.
DIFFERENCE-MAKERS: This weekend will feature two of the most in-form offensive players in Vancouver’s attacking midfielder Ryan Gauld and Nashville’s forward Hany Mukhtar.
