The Loons remain undefeated through their first three matches of the season (2W-0L-1D), while the 'Caps earned an important road point last week at LA Galaxy. The 'Caps recently faced the Loons in preseason back in February, capturing a 2-0 victory thanks to goals from Julian Gressel and Ryan Gauld.
'CAPS STATLINE: Through the first four matches of the regular season, Julian Gressel sits tied for second in the league in assists with three, Ryan Gauld has tallied the joint-third most key passes in the league, and Andrés Cubas has the second-most tackles won in the league with 12. Overall, the 'Caps are third in the Western Conference in key passes this season with 36.
APRIL HOMESTAND: Following Saturday's match, the 'Caps will turn their focus towards a three-match homestand to begin the month of April at BC Place. First up is an all-Canadian clash against CF Montréal on April 1, followed by the first leg of the Concacaf Champions League quarterfinals against familiar Western Conference foes LAFC on April 5. The final match of the homestand will see the 'Caps take on Cascadia rivals Portland Timbers on April 8 in the club's annual Vaisakhi Night.
