The 'Caps are unbeaten in their last four MLS regular season meetings against Sporting (3W-0L-1D), which includes a 1-0 away victory in their last visit to Kansas City in May 2022. Saturday's showdown will mark the second and final meeting of the MLS regular season between the two sides, having tied 1-1 at BC Place back on June 3.Â
