First up, the 'Caps visit Sporting Kansas City (2W-7L-5D) in a midweek game at Children's Mercy Park on Wednesday, May 29. Kickoff is set for 5:30 p.m. PT

Wednesday will mark the 28th all-time meeting between the 'Caps and Kansas City. It is the first of two meetings this season.

TIME TO BOUNCE BACK: Vancouver Whitecaps FC will look to put themselves back in the win column this week as they play back-to-back matches against Western Conference opposition. First on the docket is a midweek trip for their first meeting of the season against Sporting Kansas City on Wednesday, May 29. The 'Caps have posted a 3W-1L-1D record in their last five regular season meetings against Sporting, keeping two clean sheets in the process.

'70s MATCH: The 'Caps second match of the week sees them host their '70s Match against Colorado Rapids on Saturday, June 1 at BC Place. Fans are invited to relive the glory days of the 1970s Whitecaps with a trip down memory lane to celebrate the first decade of ā€˜Caps soccer, highlighted by the legendary 1979 NASL Soccer Bowl title. The match will also mark the second meeting of the season against the Rapids, with the two sides playing two weeks ago at Dick's Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City, Colorado.
