HOMESTAND CONTINUES: Vancouver Whitecaps FC continue their four-game homestand this Saturday as they host fellow Western Conference side Los Angeles FC in their Canada Day Celebration match. The 'Caps will look to continue their fine form at home this season, having tallied a 6W-1L-3D record at BC Place across all competitions. As part of Saturday's festivities, the first 3,000 fans at BC Place will receive a Whitecaps FC bucket hat upon entry into the stadium.

DEFENDING THE FORTRESS: So far this season, the Blue and White have made it difficult for opposing teams to come into BC Place and score goals, as they've tallied five clean sheets at BC Place across all competitions against the likes of defending MLS Cup champions NYCFC and Supporters' Shield holders New England Revolution. The 'Caps have also prevented teams from scoring multiple goals at BC Place, with only two opponents scoring more than one goal at BC Place this season.

BACK AT BC PLACE: There will be a trio of former 'Caps who will be making their return to BC Place come Saturday's match after joining LAFC during the offseason. Former 'Caps goalkeeper Maxime Crépeau started all 32 of his appearances and recorded 12 clean sheets for the club from 2019 to 2021, while former defender Doneil Henry started 43 of his 44 appearances and added four goals in 2018 and 2019. In addition, LAFC assistant coach Marc Dos Santos was Vancouver's head coach from November 2018 to August 2021.
