Vancouver Whitecaps FC will look to claim their second Voyageurs Cup when they host Toronto FC in the Canadian Championship Final at BC Place on Tuesday. The winner of the cup will also qualify for the 2023 Concacaf Champions League against the champions and best clubs from North America, Central America, and the Caribbean.

WE WANT THE CUP: For the first time since 2016, Vancouver Whitecaps FC host the Canadian Championship Final at BC Place as they look to claim their second Voyageurs Cup. En route to the final, the 'Caps defeated Valour FC 2-0, beat Cavalry FC away from home in a penalty shootout and won their semifinal meeting with York United FC by a score of 2-1. Standing in their way in the final will be Canadian rivals Toronto FC, who are set to make their second trip to Vancouver this season. Back on May 8, the 'Caps secured a 1-0 victory over TFC thanks to a late winner from Tosaint Ricketts.

THE PLACE TO BE: There will be plenty of pre-match and in-game specials on Tuesday at BC Place as the club gets set to welcome the largest Canadian Championship crowd in Vancouver history. The first 15,000 fans in the stadium will receive a limited edition white STAND BY ME t-shirt, there will be up to 50 per cent off select merchandise in-stadium, the club will be paying for 50 per cent off all drinks from the time the gates open at 6:30 p.m. PT through the end of play in the first half, The Warmup pre-match street party will be taking place at Terry Fox plaza starting at 4:30 p.m. PT and much more.

SHINING LIKE GAULD: Ryan Gauld has been a big part of the 'Caps offensive production lately. In the last three matches, the Scottish attacking midfielder has tallied a goal and three assists, bringing him up to three goals and a team-high six assists across all competitions this season. Gauld also leads the team in chances created and expected assists in MLS play.
