Ryan Raposo scored the first goal of the season, mere days before his 25th birthday.
WE MEET AGAIN:Â Saturday's match will mark the second consecutive season the 'Caps travel to the Bay Area for their first road match of the year, with San Jose capturing a 2-1 victory in 2023. The two sides split the spoils in their previous meeting two weeks ago, playing to a 1-1 draw during the 'Caps preseason camp in Indio, California.
FIFTY FIFTY: Both Vancouver and San Jose are celebrating their 50th anniversary seasons. The history between the clubs dates back to May 5, 1974, the first game for both teams in the old North American Soccer League.
