BACK AT HOME: After three consecutive away matches across all competitions, Vancouver Whitecaps FC are back at home to begin the month of June. The 'Caps have continued to make BC Place a fortress, as they've tallied a 11W-2L-3D record across all competitions since the start of 2021. Saturday's match will also see the club host its second annual Indigenous Peoples Match, which will include several pre-match festivities and events.
COLLECTING THE GOODS: The month of May saw the 'Caps collect valuable points in the Western Conference playoff race and progress to the semifinals of the Canadian Championship. In fact, Vancouver only lost once in May and claimed points in four of their last five MLS matches, scoring eight goals and keeping two clean sheets in the process.
INTERNATIONAL DUTY: The Blue and White will be missing a trio of players on Saturday due to international duty in the form of defender Javain Brown, forward Lucas Cavallini and new Designated Player midfielder Andrés Cubas. Brown has been called up to Jamaica's men's national team, Cavallini has joined up with Canada for upcoming Concacaf Nations League matches and Cubas is set to join Paraguay for a pair of international friendlies in Asia.
