VANCOUVER, BC – Matias Laba has entered elite company.
On Saturday afternoon at BC Place, Laba recorded seven tackles in Vancouver Whitecaps FC’s action-packed 3-3 draw with Colorado Rapids. That brings his career total to 501, making the Argentine defensive midfielder one of just three players to reach the 500-mark in tackles since Opta started tracking Major League Soccer in 2011.

This hasn't been an easy season for Laba, as he recently discussed in a sitdown interview with Perry Solkowski, but he's clearly still making an impact.
