KICKOFF: 7 p.m. PT  |  TV: TSN1  | RADIO: TSN 1040

Here are the key storylines to watch.

STORYLINES:

Home sweet home: Whitecaps FC are unbeaten in 10 MLS home matches dating back to last August, posting a 6W-0L-4D record. A win or draw on Saturday would set a new club record.

Who steps up? Both teams will be missing some key players on Saturday. The ‘Caps are without Kendall Waston due to international duty, while LA’s absences include Giovani and Jonathan dos Santos – who are both nursing hamstring injuries – and Ola Kamara (international duty).

Bouncing back: The ‘Caps, who were 10W-1L-1D after losses in 2017, will be looking to bounce back after suffering their first defeat of the season last weekend vs. Atlanta.

KEY MATCHUP:

Kei Kamara (FWD) vs. Jorgen Skjelvik (CB): Kei Kamara will be itching to get back into the lineup after being rested with a tight groin last weekend. The new ‘Caps striker scored in each of his first two matches, including his 100th MLS regular season goal.  Can he make it three in three?

QUOTABLE:

“I remember RSL came here when Martin was here, they made 11 changes, people said that it was an easy game, and we lost 1-0. I don’t buy into all that nonsense, missing players and all that lot. No game in this league is easy.” – Whitecaps FC head coach Carl Robinson
