CHESTER, PA – Vancouver Whitecaps FC (6W-5L-5D) will look to extend their winning streak to three matches on Saturday when they visit Philadelphia Union (5W-7L-3D) following a week off for the start of the 2018 FIFA World Cup.

Back from break: Following a brief World Cup break, the ‘Caps return to action against a Union side they haven’t lost to since 2013.


Goals, goals, goals: The ‘Caps are averaging 2.29 goals per game since the start of May, most recently scoring five goals vs. Orlando City SC, which is the most of any MLS team during that span.


Rolling ‘Caps: After four straight draws, the ‘Caps have now won back-to-back matches to increase their unbeaten run to six matches – just two short from their MLS club record.


KEY MATCHUP

Alphonso Davies (LW) vs. Keegan Rosenberry (RB): Davies was unstoppable in Vancouver’s most recent outing, scoring a goal and adding three assists en route to an MLS Player of the Week selection. The 17-year-old will look to keep things going on Saturday against Rosenberry, a 2016 MLS All-Star and Rookie of the Year finalist.
