The Lion possesses a skill set not common among defenders. He scored two terrific goals for the 'Caps, including the fan-voted Goal of the Year for the club. Despite an expected goal percentage of only six per cent, his dipping free kick from 31.7 yards out reached 99.5 kilometres/hour to rip the mesh.2
Outside of the goals and assists, he led all MLS defenders in big chances created and was fourth in dribbles completed.
