VANCOUVER, BC – Ahead of single match tickets going on sale to the general public on Friday, Vancouver Whitecaps FC announced on Thursday that more than 25,000 tickets have already been sold for the club’s March 2 MLS season opener against Charlotte FC.
“We are now less than two weeks away from our first match against Tigres in the Concacaf Champions Cup, and just 37 days from our MLS season opener at BC Place. The team is completely focused on the task at hand and everyone has bought into this preseason camp,” said Axel Schuster, Whitecaps FC CEO & sporting director. “This is our biggest season yet and we are expecting to have our largest ever crowd to start an MLS season. We encourage everyone to secure their tickets as quickly as possible.”
Last week, the club announced that the upper bowl will be open for a minimum of four games during the 2024 MLS season, including the March 2 home opener, 50th Anniversary match against Austin FC on May 4, inaugural games against Inter Miami CF on May 25, and playoff rematch against LAFC on August 24.
Limited season memberships and Golden Era Packs remain available, while single match tickets will be on sale to the general public this coming Friday, January 26 at 10 a.m. PT. For more information on tickets, visit whitecapsfc.com/tickets, call 604.669.9283 ext. 1, or email sales@whitecapsfc.com.
