Fredy Montero and Evan Bush were selected to the MLS Team of the Week for their contributions to the 'Caps regular season finale win over LA Galaxy, the league announced on Monday.
Montero registered a brace in his Man of the Match performance, which coincided with his 200th MLS regular season appearance. His second of the game gave him 73 in league play, eclipsing Juan Pablo Ángel as the top Colombian goalscorer in MLS history.
Evan Bush, who started in net for the 'Caps final eight matches after joining the club in late September, had a season-high six saves for his first clean sheet in a VWFC uniform.
