On the eve of the 2020 MLS SuperDraft, let's take a quick look to see who the pundits have Vancouver Whitecaps FC selecting with the fourth overall pick. The first round of Thursday’s draft will be streamed live on whitecapsfc.com, beginning at 9:30 a.m. PT.

“A big centre back that could see minutes right away for Vancouver, Kessler seems like a lock to go in the top five. Ryan Raposo’s a possibility here as well should the 'Caps be impressed with the Canadian goal-scoring midfielder.”

“The Whitecaps don’t have a big need for a striker like Dike, but his value is too high not to select him or trade the pick to a team that wants him. Vancouver will be hoping Maher or Nealis slide, but if they don’t, look for a deal here and move down where taking someone like Dayonn Harris would make sense.”

Raposo matched his assists from his freshman season and showed major improvement in goal scoring. Raposo can play left wing, attacking midfielder, right wing, or be used as a playmaker. Raposo has the speed, dribbling, technique, grit, and determination to make a difference at the next level.”
