NEW YORK, NY
– The MLS Disciplinary Committee announced on Wednesday that Vancouver Whitecaps FC striker Blas Pérez has been suspended one game and issued an undisclosed fine for violent conduct in the 78th minute of their match against Seattle Sounders FC this past Sunday, October 2.
Pérez will serve the suspension during Vancouver’s next MLS match on Sunday, October 16 at San Jose Earthquakes (2 p.m. PT on TSN2).
Midfielder Pedro Morales will also serve a one-match suspension against San Jose for his red card in the 53rd minute of last Sunday's game.
The two players will be available when the 'Caps return to BC Place for their regular season finale against Portland Timbers on October 23.
