The Knockout Round of the Audi 2017 MLS Cup Playoffs wrapped up on Thursday night and there are eight teams left standing. Next up: the Conference Semifinals.
In the Western Conference, Whitecaps FC will face Seattle Sounders FC this Sunday at BC Place (5:30 p.m. PT – tickets moving fast) before heading to CenturyLink Field for the decisive second leg on Thursday, November 2 at 7:30 p.m. PT, with the winner facing either Portland Timbers or Houston Dynamo.
Should the teams finish tied on aggregate goals after the end of the second match, the away goals tiebreaker comes into play. If the teams are still even on the away goals tiebreaker, they will play 30 minutes of extra time followed by penalty kicks, if necessary.
