Attention all ‘Caps fans! An expected 750 Seattle Sounders FC fans will be in the crowd on Saturday at BC Place, so show your ‘Caps pride by cheering loud and participating in some of these great events.
Kickoff for Saturday’s match is set for 4 p.m. PT at BC Place. You can watch the match live on TSN2, Bell mobile devices, and TSN GO. The match will also air live on TEAM 1410 and teamradio.ca, starting with the pre-game show at 2 p.m. PT. TEAM 1410 will also have a two-hour post-game show immediately following the match. TEAM Radio will be live at 'Caps Kickoff on Terry Fox Plaza to broadcast their pre-match show.
Sport Chek Matchday Partner - #Tweet2Meet with Sport Chek
Tweet your seat location in match @SportChek and @WhitecapsFC using the hashtag #Tweet2Meet for your chance to meet a Whitecaps FC player immediately following the match and attend the post-match press conference. Winners will be selected before the 75th minute.

Come out to ‘Caps Kickoff from 2:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. PT at Terry Fox Plaza and get excited about the match. ‘Caps fans of all ages are invited show their support for the Blue and White at this fun community event. To get your ‘Caps spirit going, the Comic Soccer players featuring Sammy Soccer on stilts will be roaming the grounds at ‘Caps Kickoff to deliver laughs for Whitecaps FC fans.
Bell Fan Zone
Be sure to visit the Bell Fan Zone from 3 to 3:30 p.m. PT for your chance to meet Whitecaps FC defender, Sam Adekugbe and receive Sam’s autograph! While you are at the Bell Fan Zone, you can also show off your Whitecaps FC pride by getting your face painted, colouring your own unique Whitecaps FC scarf, and scoring goals against the opposition as your favourite Whitecaps FC players in EA SPORTS FIFA 14.

The BMO Kicking Cage, which Whitecaps FC fans can find at ‘Caps Kickoff on Terry Fox Plaza, offers the chance for you to measure your speed and accuracy and see how you compare against your favourite ‘Caps players. ‘Caps in the Community Match Day Partner - Purolator Tackle Hunger
Whitecaps FC is proud to partner with Purolator to support the Greater Vancouver Food Bank Society and help provide accessible, healthy, and sustainable food for everyone in our communities. The GVFBS is dedicated to empowering over 28,000 people weekly in the Lower Mainland by providing access to healthy food, education and training, but requires the support of the community to accomplish their goal.
By bringing a non-perishable food item or by making a cash donation at the match on Saturday, ‘Caps fans will be able to help people in need within our community – over a quarter of whom are children. In addition, Purolator will be donating 250 pounds of food for every corner kick taken during the match, and the first 400 fans to make a donation will receive an autographed ‘Caps banner!
Come early to the match and catch Whitecaps FC club ambassador, Carl Valentine, Spike, and Ashleigh DeMerit volunteering with the Greater Vancouver Food Bank Society and Purolator. They will be at the large Whitecaps FC/Purolator courier truck located on Terry Fox Plaza at 'Caps Kickoff from 3-3:30 p.m. PT. Fans can also drop off nonperishable items to the Greater Vancouver Food Bank Society volunteers on entry to BC Place.
Remembering Clelia Lenarduzzi
Vancouver Whitecaps FC’s match this Saturday, May 24, against Seattle Sounders FC will be dedicated in the memory of Clelia Lenarduzzi – a woman who played an integral part in raising four boys, three of whom have served the club for several years.
