Following the conclusion of the ACC semifinal second leg against FC Edmonton, Whitecaps FC will head to Utah to take on MLS Western Conference rivals Real Salt Lake. FC Edmonton started the 2013 season with three consecutive road matches which included a 1-1 draw against Fort Lauderdale Strikers, 2-1 loss at Carolina RailHawks, 2-0 defeat at Minnesota United FC before earing their first victory of the season last Sunday in a 1-0 home win against San Antonio Scorpions. Edmonton are currently in fifth place in the seven team North American Soccer League.
