Be sure to visit Bell Media at ‘Caps Kickoff, as TEAM Radio will be broadcasting their pre-match show live on Terry Fox Plaza. The Beat 94.5 and 103.5 QM/FM will also be at 'Caps Kickoff, and fans can enter to win Whitecaps FC merchandise.
To get your ‘Caps spirit going, the Comic Soccer players featuring Sammy Soccer on stilts will be roaming the grounds at ‘Caps Kickoff to deliver laughs for Whitecaps FC fans.

‘Caps in the Community Match Day Partner – Special Olympics BC
Vancouver Whitecaps FC is proud to partner with Special Olympics BC. Their mission is to provide individuals with intellectual disabilities opportunities to enrich their lives and celebrate personal achievement through positive sport experiences. After thirty-four years, they are providing year-round, high-quality sports programs and competitions for more than 4,300 athletes in 55 communities around the province, with the vital assistance of more than 3,300 trained, dedicated volunteers.
At the match, members of the Law Enforcement Torch Run Final Leg in support of the Special Olympics Canada 2014 Summer Games will be in attendance. The team is composed of 25 law enforcement members from across Canada and two Special Olympics athlete from B.C. and Alberta.
From July 5 through July 8, these dedicated law enforcement members and Special Olympics athletes are weaving their way throughout the Lower Mainland carrying the “Flame of Hope” on their way to the Opening Ceremonies for the Special Olympics Canada 2014 Summer Games on July 8 at the University of British Columbia.
This will be the first National Games in B.C. since 1990 and this team is working hard to raise awareness and funds for the Special Olympics Canada 2014 Games. Keep an eye out for them in your community, come out to watch great Special Olympics athletes in action at the Games from July 8 to July 12.
