On Tuesday, Vancouver Whitecaps FC announced the signing of legendary South Korean defender Young-Pyo Lee. A bonafide celebrity in his home country, Lee has represented the Republic of Korea in three World Cups, including famously sending in the cross for the golden goal to beat Italy in the Round of 16 at the 2002 FIFA World Cup.
