'CAPS ON TOUR: Coming off a thrilling 4-3 victory over St. Louis at BC Place, Vancouver Whitecaps FC are set to begin a four-game road stretch this week with a pair of matches. First up is a first meeting of the season against Western Conference foes Minnesota United on Wednesday at Allianz Field, with only a point separating the sides heading into Matchday 24. The Blue and White will then return to Canadian soil for a rivalry match against CF Montréal on Saturday at Stade Saputo. With the next four matches away from home, the 'Caps will be looking to build on this year's impressive road record. Vancouver are tied for the third-best road record in the Western Conference based on points with 14 (4W-4L-2D). The record is also tied for sixth-best in the league based on points.

WORKING-CLASS ALL-STAR: Ryan Gauld is an MLS All-Star. On Monday, the captain was named to the 30-man roster for the 2024 MLS All-Star Team, which will see the league's best take on LIGA MX All-Stars on Wednesday, July 24 at Lower.com Field in Columbus, Ohio. Gauld was selected by Columbus Crew and MLS All-Star head coach Wilfried Nancy as part of his 16 picks. The Scotsman is the sixth Whitecaps FC player to represent the club at the MLS All-Star Game, joining Jay DeMerit (2012), Camilo (2013), David Ousted (2015), Kendall Waston (2016), and Alphonso Davies (2018). DYNAMITE WHITE: A key figure in the 'Caps come-from-behind victory against St. Louis was forward Brian White, who notched his second career hat trick to bring him up to eight goals this season. On, Monday, White received MLS Player of the Matchday honours for his performance, marking the second time he's been given the award. White is the first player in the club's MLS era to record multiple hat tricks, with his first coming on October 2, 2021 in a 3-0 victory against San Jose Earthquakes at BC Place. White's hat trick also saw him equal Whitecaps FC's MLS regular season goalscoring record at 39 goals and earned him his third MLS Team of the Matchday selection this season.
