Notes
Whitecaps FC head coach Carl Robinson makes one personnel change to his starting XI from last Saturday’s 3-3 draw vs. Colorado Rapids – centre back Tim Parker replaces a suspended Kendall Waston. Parker is the only ‘Caps player who also started the midweek 4-1 CONCACAF Champions League win over Central FC.
Tonight will be the first time Parker and Edgar have partnered at centre back in MLS play; however, Parker did play right back with Edgar next to him at centre back on August 6 and 12.
Rookie Homegrown midfielder Alphonso Davies makes his second consecutive MLS regular season start. Last week, at the age of 15 years and 327 days, Davies became the second youngest player to start an MLS regular season match. Davies will turn 16 on November 2.
