Whitecaps FC head coach Carl Robinson makes three personnel changes to his starting XI from Saturday’s 2-2 draw with Colorado Rapids as Nicolás Mezquida, Cristian Techera, and Masato Kudo draw in for Pedro Morales and the injured Kekuta Manneh and Blas Pérez.
Kudo returns to the Whitecaps FC starting lineup for the first time since suffering a fractured jaw on May 11 against Chicago Fire. The Japanese striker missed six league matches and all four Amway Canadian Championship matches.
Recently acquired Canadian international defender Marcel de Jong will be available as a substitute, while David Edgar continues to work towards full fitness.
