Whitecaps FC head coach Carl Robinson makes two personnel changes to his starting XI that defeated Toronto FC 2-1 on Wednesday with Jordan Smith and Nicolás Mezquida in for Russell Teibert and Kekuta Manneh. Mezquida appeared as a sub on Wednesday, scoring his third goal in four matches.
Meanwhile, Tim Parker returns to his usual centre back position, while Andrew Jacobson moves back to his usual central midfield position.
Tonight’s XI is also similar to the side that defeated Philadelphia Union 3-2 last weekend with the only personnel change being Kendall Waston in and Manneh out. Waston returns to MLS action after missing three matches due to international duty and suspension.
