Whitecaps FC head coach Carl Robinson keeps the same starting XI that defeated Portland Timbers this past Saturday. This is the second time this year that he has used the same XI in back-to-back matches. There is one change on the bench, with Kekuta Manneh returning from suspension to replace an injured Octavio Rivero (left ankle sprain).

- Left back Jordan Harvey makes his 134th MLS regular season appearance with Whitecaps FC, breaking the club record previously held by Gershon Koffie.
- Midfielder Christian Bolaños makes his fourth consecutive start – the native of San José, Costa Rica has scored in his last three matches.
