Dear supporters and fans,
Thank you for a fantastic season.
Your support this year has been brilliant, week in and week out, from first kick until the final whistle. You continue to be the motivation that pushes us onward to bigger and better things, and you’ve been as big a part of this team’s success as anyone. You’ve helped us make history for the club.
We’ve come a long way together this year. I know there is disappointment that the season is over, but that should not overshadow the hard work that everyone put in this year. We achieved a number of our goals, and I’m certain that there are plenty more successes to come. The experiences of this season will only make us stronger.
At the start of the year, we promised you that we would give our all to bring the first MLS home playoff match to BC Place. The taste of that incredible sell-out atmosphere on Sunday is enough to see that we are all going in the right direction, and gives more fuel for our young team.
Another priority was to win our first Voyageurs Cup and become Canadian champions. That title had eluded the club up until this year, so we were thrilled to share that moment with you at BC Place.
We’re excited about what we have achieved together, but make no bones about it, we are not content. We have a terrific core in place, and we’ll look to strengthen it this offseason. The hard work won’t stop – in fact it has only just begun.
I’ve said it before, but it never stops bearing repeating – I am proud to be the head coach of this club.
I look forward to seeing you all again in 2016.
Sincerely,
Carl Robinson
