Vancouver Whitecaps FC are honoured to have Sireen Alselo as Kid Captain of the club's Canadian Championship home match against Valour FC at BC Place this coming Wednesday, May 11.
Sireen came to Canada from Syria, and despite having to adapt to a new country and culture, she has made many friends and made great strides at school. Sireen is nine years old and uses sports as a positive outlet. She is an avid enthusiast of both soccer and volleyball, playing with her brothers and sister. She also loves school and reading.
