Vancouver Whitecaps FC are honoured to have Racher Perez from Canada SCORES as Kid Captain of the club's home match against Toronto FC at BC Place this coming Sunday, May 8.
Racher is a brave, talented 11-year-old. At Canada SCORES, she's learned to express herself through poetry and soccer, which has helped to keep her focused on positive goals even through the many challenges she has faced. Every day she is growing in confidence. Racher also loves dogs!
Canada SCORES is a registered Canadian charity that provides free after-school programming of soccer, poetry and service-learning to 200+ students through partnerships with 12 schools across Burnaby, Surrey and New Westminster.
