Vancouver Whitecaps FC are honoured to have Nicholas Cannon as Kid Captain of the club's home match against Los Angeles Galaxy at BC Place this coming Wednesday, September 14.
Cannon is a 13-year-old patient in the oncology program at BC Children’s Hospital. He was diagnosed with an extremely rare cancer in March last year and completed his treatment in January. Thanks to the care he received at BC Children's Hospital, he’s been cancer free for six months now. He will be joined as Kid Captain by his little brother and biggest supporter Clive. Â
