Vancouver Whitecaps FC are honoured to have Gordie Dick of the Tsleil-Waututh Nation as Kid Captain of the club's Canadian Championship semifinal home match against York United FC on Wednesday, June 22 at BC Place.
Gordie is an inspiring member of the Tsleil-Waututh Nation Warriors U-13 soccer team. Off the field, he has supported in teaching indigenous art at his school and was recently chosen to create a logo for the United Nations Environment Programme's historic 50 years milestone which has been shared worldwide.
