Whitecaps FC are honoured to have Matthew Wilson from Special Olympics BC as Kid Captain for Sunday’s MLS Cup Playoffs match against Los Angeles FC.Â
Matthew is an active athlete with Special Olympics BC’s FUNdamentals program. This program trains young athletes in sport-related motor skills and introduces them to a variety of sports, including soccer and track & field. Matthew is a grade eight student who loves pinball, basketball, Roblox, horseback riding, and playing with his cat Timmy.Â
