Whitecaps FC are honoured to have Aaron Zhang from Special Olympics BC as Kid Captain for Saturday's home match against Inter Miami CF.
Aaron is a nine-year-old student with autism from Richmond, BC. He has been participating with Special Olympics BC for three years. Aaron loves playing soccer, floor hockey, and ice hockey. He also loves being involved in fundraising for kids on the spectrum. He and his friends from Clawsum Kids Club, who are also on the spectrum, fundraised over $7,400 for Autism Speaks Canada! Aaron’s passion is advocating for those who cannot advocate for themselves.
