It’s playoff time.
This coming Friday, June 18 the EA SPORTS FIFA Global Series kicks off the North American playoffs for the 2021 FIFAe World Cup.
The event features the final eight remaining players on the continent for each console, and the ‘Caps will be represented by new signing AgitPower on Playstation – the fourth ranked played in North America.

Friday, June 18 – 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. PT
Saturday, June 19 – 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. PT
Sunday, June 20 – 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. PT
FORMAT
After a swiss style group qualifier round last weekend, AgitPower made the top eight for the upcoming quarterfinals this weekend.
He will face fellow Canadian Loux-11 – winner of North America Qualifier 5 – in the opening series. Each series will be played over two matches, with the winner from the aggregate advancing.
Should AigtPower advance, he will be one series away from the 2021 FIFAe World Cup, with both of the finalists qualifying.
The competition will be wide open after top ranked COL Joksan was eliminated in the final 16.
WHAT’S ON THE LINE
In addition to bragging rights to be North American champion, and qualifying for the FIFAe World Cup, the champion will also take home a cool $40,000 USD cash prize. Here is the breakdown:
First: $40,000
Second: $20,000
Third: $10,000
Fourth $7,500
Fifth-Sixth: $5,000
Seventh/Eighth: $2,250
