Whitecaps FC are off to a great start this season after defeating Canadian rivals Montreal Impact 2-0 in the season opener on March 10, followed by a first road victory against Chivas USA.
Now the ‘Caps are back home to take on D.C. United and reigning MLS MVP, Golden Boot winner, and Canadian international Dwayne De Rosario this Saturday, March 24, at 7:00 pm PT. This will be the only time this season that D.C. United will travel to the West Coast to take on the ‘Caps. Fans are encouraged to purchase their tickets for what is sure to be a thrilling match on Bell Pitch at BC Place.
Saturday's event will mark the first night match at BC Place this season. There are many activities for ‘Caps fans of all ages to enjoy before the match. You can start by joining Tyler Green and Perry Solkowski from Team 1410 radio for their pre-game show at the Hurricane Grill before heading to ‘Caps Kickoff starting at 5:00 p.m outside of BC Place on Terry Fox Plaza. At ‘Caps Kickoff, fans are able to participate in a variety of activities brought to you by Whitecaps FC partners. The Bell Box will be on location to provide great entertainment, while 'Caps players will also be on hand to sing autographs, and at the BMO Power of Blue booth fans will be able to test the power of their kick.
