It was a tough end to the ‘Caps season on Thursday as they fell 2-0 in Seattle. After the match, current MLS players Bobby Boswell from Atlanta United FC and Alan Gordon from Colorado Rapids weighed in with their analysis, alongside Andrew Wiebe and host Susannah Collins.
"Sometimes there's bad match-ups for a team," noted Boswell. "In this case, I don't think this game was indicative of Vancouver's year and what kind of a team they are. I just think they were matched up against a team that is a tough match-up for them."
"They're going to be contenders," added Gordon of the 'Caps. "They've got a good, solid group. It's a good year to build on. It's probably not what they wanted in the end, but it just wasn't there this year. They've got a lot to build on for next year."
